Our last few days in NZ included viewing the Fox and Franz Josef glaciers from the ground (rather than from a chopper like we had the week before), driving along wind blown west coast beaches (with obligatory whitebait fritters), a night at the hot springs at Hanmer (complete with a crazy earthquake experience), checking out the wildlife in Kaikoura (whilst nearly breaking my ankle) and sampling wines from the Marlborough Region (yum!). From the west, to the east, and finally to the north coast, we saw a lot of in a short time.
We crossed Cook Strait and spent a night in Wellington before a few days in Rarotonga… not too many photos from the tiny island, I think we were too busy relaxing.
