From the Sounds we drove to Queenstown to spend a couple of days snowboarding with Jared. He had been working at Coronet Peak as a lifty for the season, and managed to snag a couple of days off. The first time snowboarding for Gem was a success, and together the three of us laid some fun turns in some quality conditions.
From Queenstown (and after more than one serving from Ferg Burger) we headed back to the west coast.
